Pakistani Bodybuilders and Steroids

Last few months have been like a nightmare for Pakistani bodybuilders as some of them have died because of taking steroids. In Pakistan, bodybuilding is not properly regularized under authorities and it has brought situation to an alarming level. The authorities need to ban selling of illegal steroids along with registering all gyms and coaching centers.

Following are some causes behind why Pakistani bodybuilders are falling prey of steroids:

  • Non Registered Gyms

Most of the gyms in Pakistan are non-registered entities and without bringing them into order, this issue cannot be tackled. In these gyms, some people who don’t have knowledge of this field become instructors and play with human bodies.

  • Illiterate Gym Instructors

The major lot of gym instructors we have in our gyms does not have any prior knowledge of medical sciences, more or less not even close. The concerned authorities must look into this matter and make sure that there should be a qualified person there to guide youngsters.

  • Gym Instructors Offer Steroids to Trainees

As per reports, these gym coaches provoke their trainees into using steroids assuring them that their body will change in no time with these so-called medicines. Such people should be taken into account by the law as most youngsters are misled and then suffer the consequences.

  • Coaches Minting Money by Selling Steroids

Some coaches at these gyms are involved in the illegal business of selling such steroids and thus they make money by exploiting young brains.
